Welcome to my collection of images. I am not a professional photographer but am learning to appreciate the art and science of the field. When not engaged in full-time parenting and work, I try to find some quiet reflection time with the camera, thus my tendency toward nature and wildlife. I unfortunately don't live near glorious landscapes but do occasionally travel to such destinations. The images here simply document those moments of intentional departure from my normal routine, while traveling, hiking or in my own backyard.
